Privacy notice

This notice explains what BootDay collects and why. Last updated 9 October 2026.

What we collect

Live reports. When you report that a sale is on, off, busy or muddy, we store the report with a one-way scrambled code made from your connection and the date. We use it to stop repeat reports, and it can't be turned back into your IP address.
Alert sign-ups. Your email address and the sale or area you chose. We use it only to email you about cancellations and dates.
Organiser forms. Your name, email, optional phone number and the details you send. We use them to check and update the listing and to reply to you.
Postcode searches. If you search by postcode, your browser sends the postcode to postcodes.io to look up its location. "Use my location" keeps your position in your browser.

We don't sell your details or use advertising trackers.

Live reports are kept for up to 90 days. Alert sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Organiser messages are kept while the listing is active.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time using the contact form.
